Community Life at First Alliance

Being part of a church is more than just showing up for a Sunday Worship service. It involves jumping in and getting to know others. Knowing others makes it a little easier to jump into some of our discipleship opportunities for children, youth, and adults and opportunities to serve. Here are some of the ways you can take a next step in doing that:

Coffee & Connection

Coffee & Connection happens every Sunday morning at 10:15am on the lower level of the Family Life Center between the two Worship Services. This is a weekly time of fellowship, connection, and getting to know one another whether you've been at First Alliance for a long time or a very short time.

There are a variety of beverages and snacks to enjoy that we share the responsibility in providing. The schedule is:

Last Name A - C     1st Sunday of the Month
Last Name D - He      2nd Sunday of the Month
Last Name Hi - R      3rd Sunday of the Month
Last Name S - Z      4th Sunday of the Month

FACTs You Can Use is a weekly email with 3-4 bullets of news, information, and opportunities that will help you to connect, grow, and engage at First Alliance Church. It also includes a reminder of which group's turn it is to bring snacks for Coffee & Connection.

If you aren't receiving FACTs, use the form below to sign up. If you think you should be receiving it, but aren't getting it, please confirm that it isn't going into your junk mail folder. The content of FACTs You Can Use is also available in the FACT Mobile app for iOS or Android.

Supper Clubs

Supper Clubs at First Alliance are an opportunity to connect and build relationships with others via food, fellowship, and fun. At various points throughout the year, you will have the opportunity to sign up to be placed in a group. The core of each group is made up of 6 people comprised of couples and singles, young and old, new attenders and long time members. Groups meet for 3 months, and each month someone takes responsibility for hosting and inviting someone else to join the group so each time the group gathers there are 8 present. At the end of the "term," groups either disband or, if there is an interest, can transform and continue meeting as a Discipling Community.
